90 freshmen from 29 countries had a joyful gathering in Room 205 in Administrative Building of School of Medicine on the afternoon of September 25, 2015. This is the second orientation special activity for 2015 batch freshmen.
As the Mid-autumn Festival is around the corner, Chinese history and traditional food were introduced to let the foreign students learn about Chinese traditional culture. Afterwards, Zayid, who has started his graduate study in Zhejiang University’s First Affiliated Hospital, introduced the ways to pursue further study in the university, such as writing papers, etc. Daniel, a senior student, shared his experience of making good use of various campus resources, and he also emphasized the importance of learning Chinese well. Ali, a junior student, has been involved in colorful and interesting extracurricular activities organized by the university.
When the freshmen read the medical oath with the brand-new white coat, they got so excited and proud that they took photos energetically. As a result, this special activity ended up with all freshmen taking group photos with the gesture of going towards victory.
